Day 1: Learning and Audit

Today we went through the JFLL documentation for this year's Power Puzzle. This included rules and the challenge itself.

We received our Base-Kit in the mail yesterday. It came in two (2) boxes. One box contained a battery power-pack plus a motor. The other, larger, box contained some 352 LEGO pieces and several design books.

To get off to a good start we began building the first Design (1A and 1B). The children did ALL of the work. For 6-year olds it was pretty impressive.

Once completed we went to HERE to learn some basics about simple machines.

All in all it was a productive day.
