Well, it all comes down to tonight.

Alan, Lahiru, Walker and Brenda - you have all worked diligently in putting together the proposal for a solution to the Moonbots - Google Lunar XPrize LEGO Mindstorms Challenge.

We have published our information on the Tucson Technics Web-Site.

Now it is a waiting game. You are competing with over 200 teams from all over the world.

This afternoon we had a meeting in the Computer Lab.

All members were there.
Handed out Team T-Shirts to each member.
Then we talked about the moonbots rules.
We used blue painter's tape to mockup the lunar surface on the Computer Lab carpet.
We used Walker's ramp, crater, items (h20 and he3) and rock pieces to help conceptualize the lunar surface in the challenge.
Each member gave their ideas about how the vehicle might move around the surface from the platform to collecting the items and returning to the ramp.
Each member pretended to be a robot and went along the course, exaggerating their encounters with obstructions (like craters, rocks, and berm).
We discussed tasks needed to complete Phase 1.
Each member given a sheet with the lunar surface diagram and a bunch of mock-robots that they can cut out and pretend to be traveling over the lunar surface course.
